In 2018 I plan to change …..

2017 Posted on Sun, January 14, 2018 20:01:39

And a very happy New
Year to you and yours!

In general I don’t do
New Year’s resolutions; you can create change at anytime …. but I do like the
feeling of a new year and a clean sheet. It does give us a reference point for
assessment and reflection on our lives, our relationships and our health/

So where are you going
in 2018?

I hope you haven’t been drawn into the latest fad diet (cabbage is good but who wants to eat only cabbage for 2 weeks) or crazy new gizmo
or gadget. Have you picked up on the interest surrounding – BBC Doctor in the
House – Dr Rangan Chatterjee ( ) and his book
” The four Pillar Plan”?

I’m loving the
interest and momentum it’s generating regarding the importance of our modern
lifestyle in creating our health and wellness or our pain, suffering and disease. This
is HUGE and something you not usually hearing from a GP! Lifestyle healthcare is ,however,
pretty much what the Chiropractic Wellness philosophy has been highlighting for
many years and it’s great to see it hitting mainstream media with force.

Have a look at this
Youtube video below – Dr Chatterjee presents this lifestyle philosophy at a 2016 TEDx

(How to Make diseases
disappear – Rangan Chatterjee)

Let’s rock 2018!

“The doctor of the
future will give no medication, but will interest his patients in the care of
the human frame, diet and in the cause and prevention of disease. ~ ”

Can’t take it with you ….

2017 Posted on Wed, November 08, 2017 00:02:00

I have recently returned back to work following a very quick trip back to South Africa to attend my father’s funeral. This is not something that would have been possible without the wonderful support from my wife andfriends / family here in the U.K. and the fabulous support offered by the members of The Chiropractic Partnership.

My father lead a positive and full life and one can say at 90yrs of age he had had “a good innings” Whilst helping my brother and sister sorting through dad’s belongings it really struck home to me the obvious …. the thing we always say but we never stop and really give it much deep thought?

“You don’t take it with you “!

Material goods, the latest mobile phone, the TV, the car, money ….. you don’t take them with you!

So …..

Time to re-evaluate your values and priorities?

Time for a “declutter” session?

Who or what really matters?

What are you going to leave behind?

Think about it …..
